The ID. Buzz opens doors for you – it even opens the rear lid and sliding doors automatically. You can unlock them with the car key in your pocket, and with a flick of the foot. This is especially useful if you are standing by the vehicle with both hands full of shopping or luggage that you want to put away. The prerequisite for this is the Easy Open & Close function in combination with the electrically operated rear lid and electric sliding doors. The Keyless Advanced locking and starting system unlocks all the doors, including the sliding doors, as soon as you approach the ID. Buzz with the key. The optional power closing system provides even more everyday comfort. It takes over when closing the sliding doors and gently guides them closed until they engage securely. If there’s anyone between the door and the hinge, the roll-back function prevents the door from closing.
Even just a gentle push into the lock ensures that they are closed automatically.
